Autumn Moor Grass (Sesleria autumnalis) is the winner of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Autumn Moor Grass adds interest to meadows, urban pathways, small gardens, and anywhere needing a small groundcover. Autumn Moor Grass is native to Southeastern Europe, from Italy to Albania. It performs best in full sun or partial shade. It prefers moderately fertile, well-drained soil - be sure not to overwater. It is drought tolerant once established, and is not ideal for hot, humid summers. Pair with additional ornamental grasses and favorite drought tolerant perennials such as Lavender, Coreopsis, Butterfly Weed, and Echinacea.
